My story

Videos: Playgroup 8/10: Coldy, Blue, King Cashe, Duke Jr https://youtu.be/2TstLGKex58 Playgroup 8/10: Coldy, Blue, Duke Jr, Peeps https://youtu.be/RaSoTep6LjQ Behavior Notes: Per volunteer 8/14/25: Duke and I were in the covered dog run and I clapped my hands and he ran over and jumped on me! His face was all in mine! It was such a friendly gesture! He's coming out of his shell. Per volunteer 8/13/25: Super super super housebroken, easy walker despite size, shys away when you go to pet him with an open hand so prefers gentle butt scratches and work your way up towards his head. Allowed handling, but did not solicit it. Needs a calm and gentle owner to help him come out of his shell Playgroup 8/10/25: Stiff, timid, fearful, wags for gate greeting, not steerable, lip licking, yawning, hackles raised , stressed, mounts, gives space, did loosen up over time showing interest in other dogs and play. Per staff 8/10/25: Kennel Presentation: duke was standing on the kennel door with wide eyes and a low wagging tail. he sniffed the leash and backed up as i reached in. he pulled his head away as i tried leashing him overhead but allowed me to secure him. once secured he came right out Leash Skills: pulls moderately Sociability:Duke was very nervous with a low tail in the yard. once i dropped the leash he was very avoidant of me. he had a neutral body and lowered ears as he sniffed around the yard. he never approached me so i decided to slowly approach him. i offered my hadn't and he did some lip licks. i did some light handling and he was very tolerant but tense with a still body. he was uncomfortable with wide eyes and a low tail. every time i would touch him he would flinch (touch sensitive). i offered him some treats on our way back which he took very gently. Play:n/a Dog Interaction:n/a Return to Kennel: he walked right back into his kennel Per finder 8/6/25: Friendly and good on leash ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
