My story

NEVER TOO MANY PETS  DOB 7/13/23 Hi, I’m Cookie – and I got my name because I’m just as sweet as one! I’m a Turkish Van mix gal, which means that I’m mostly white with brown tabby spots on my head, back, and tail. The Turks would say that the spots on my back are the thumbprints of Allah. My coat looks like cookie crumbles sprinkled in chocolate fudge and then drizzled over melted marshmallow. But there’s more to me than just good looks! I’m a total cuddle bug who loves being petted, held, and snuggled. I’m gentle and adore affection -- there’s no such thing as too many pets. But I’m never demanding; I don’t need to be the center of attention; I’m just happy being near you. My crunchy little meows are known to make people smile. If that doesn't get you to grin, I'll give you little licks so you can't resist my smooth charm. Trust me, I know I’m cute -- whether I’m rolling around your feet trying to get your attention or loafing and relaxing adorably right next to you. Call my name (especially if snacks are involved), and I’ll come running.  What can I say -- I’m a smart Cookie! I’m playful, curious, and full of personality. Give me a catnip kicker, and I’ll wrestle it like a champ. Wand toys? Count me in! I love exploring every nook and cranny of my space. After playtime, I turn into a gold-medal napper. I sprawl out in the funniest positions, take up hardly any space, and bring such a calm vibe that you’ll probably want to curl up next to me. I’m a low-key girl who just wants a cozy spot, a little love, and someone to chill with. My story? I showed up in a family’s yard one day, and I was so friendly that they thought I had a home. But no one ever came for me. Maybe I was abandoned, maybe I got lost -- no one knows for sure. What we do know is that I baked up a whole batch of kittens and kept them safe like the tough Cookie I am. Now that I’ve survived life on the streets and permanently retired from motherhood, I’m ready for a warm, loving home -- ideally as your one-and-only cat-child. I’m sweet enough to satisfy any craving – there’s no need for a second helping or other cats. I’m sweet, mellow, and easy–to-love, a soft-baked kind of girl with all the yum you’ll ever need.
