My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:7Tina – The Gentle Sniffari Explorer Tina is a 10-month-old, 62-pound American Pit Bull Terrier with a curious nose, a soft heart, and a graceful way of making friends—both human and canine. Lovely leash manners: She walks nicely with just a touch of pulling when something interesting catches her attention. Calm explorer: Tina takes her time on “sniffari” walks, calmly investigating her surroundings. Polite greeter: As she gets comfortable, she may give you a thorough sniff from head to toe, then gently lick your face, tail wagging in a relaxed rhythm. Independent but connected: She’ll wander off to explore but comes back when called. As she warms up, she may even come running right over and lean her whole weight against you for affection. Dog-friendly: She’d pass some of her canine neighbors politely with a quick sniff before moving on, and she enjoys doggie playgroup with well-matched friends. Tina would love a home that gives her the freedom to explore and the patience to let her affectionate side bloom.
