My story

Dapper boy Angus is ready to strut into your heart. This big, handsome lugnut is estimated to be 2 years old and can`t wait to bust out of this joint and into a loving home of his own! Angus was brought in as a stray so we don`t know his history. At 66lbs he`s a big guy, but that just means there`s more of him to love! We are still getting to know him, and will update as we learn more about his personality and fun quirks. But why wait for that when you can meet him for yourself today?! Angus has been a little selective with other dogs in pay groups. He enjoys the rowdy crowd. Do you have a dog that needs a friend to work off their energy together? Maybe Angus is what you are looking for. Like all our adult dogs, Angus will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like. Angus is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!Did you know that black dogs are often overlooked in the shelter? They are oftentimes the dogs who stay in shelter care the longest and are chosen last. Break the stigma and adopt a black dog today. Remember, black dogs are the best dogs.
