My story

Meet Aldo, a 1-year-old Terrier mix with a 21-pound frame and a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. This spunky little guy is still finding his confidence, but it’s easy to see the sweet soul underneath. He absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than snuggling in your lap or being carried around like the little prince he is. Aldo is playful and fun, though he can get a bit shy if he feels like he’s being chased. He never shows any aggression—just a gentle soul who sometimes needs a little reassurance. When he first came to us, he was covered in burrs and clearly hadn’t known much kindness, but now he’s soaking up affection and learning that people can be pretty great. He keeps a spotless kennel, though he’s not the biggest fan of being in it—he’d much rather be out and about following his person around. Bully sticks are a big hit, and his goofy, endearing personality is sure to win you over. Aldo is ready to find a home where he can continue to grow into the confident, playful pup we know he is. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
