My story

Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne Experienced GSD Owners — Meet Buddy! Are you an experienced German Shepherd owner looking for your next loyal, driven companion? Buddy is a young, high-energy GSD from a working dog line, and he’s looking for a home that understands what that really means. This boy isn’t just smart — he thrives on structure, challenge, and purpose. Buddy has a solid foundation in obedience and is quick to learn, eager to work, and always ready to engage. He does great in daycare with other dogs, but he needs a home where he can be more than just a pet — he needs a job, a leader, and an outlet for his energy. Buddy will do best in an active home with someone who knows the breed — someone who understands the mental and physical needs of a working-line shepherd and can continue to guide him as he matures. Whether it’s advanced training, agility, hiking, or daily structured activity, Buddy is ready to go all in with you. This is a special dog for someone looking for more than your average companion — Buddy is a partner in the making. Working-line German Shepherd High energy, active, driven Excellent obedience foundation Good with other dogs in daycare Needs structure, purpose, and daily engagement If you’re ready for a true partnership, Buddy is waiting for you.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Buddy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
