Meet Lilo (female)  & Stitch (male)  – two tiny survivors with big feelings and major trust issues…  Gulfport, MS | Apply at Tired Dog Rescue Born 5/16/25 | Terrier Mixes | 5 lbs (Stitch) 4 lbs (Lilo) Local adoption only | Adoption fee includes spay/neuter at 6 months, all vaccines, and mircochip.  These siblings came into the world with the kind of backstory you’d expect in a tear-jerking Netflix special: their mama was thrown from a moving car  while pregnant —yes,  thrown.  She survived (because she’s a queen), gave birth, and now here we are: two adorable, wide-eyed pups trying to figure out if people are friends or just really loud snacks dispensers. Stitch is the slightly braver of the two—brown, scruffy, and suspicious of your intentions. Lilo, smaller and black-coated, would prefer you admire her from across the room for now, thank you very much. These babies are  terrified  of new people and unfamiliar situations, so they’ll need serious socialization, gentle routines, and someone with the patience of a saint and the snack budget of a small army. They’re not ready for the spotlight just yet—but with time, love, and a low-drama household, they’ll start to believe in happily ever afters. Until then, they’re sticking together, judging you from under the furniture.
