My story

Meet Henry! 🐶 (Part Poodle. Full-time cuddlebug. Amateur comedian.) Henry might be part Poodle, but whatever the rest of him is, we’re pretty sure it’s 100% lovable goofball. This sweet, floppy-eared little guy has a heart as big as his puppy-dog eyes — and he’s ready to melt yours. Henry’s backstory has some bumps: He and his brother were adopted by a man in a recovery program who loved them dearly. Sadly, his brother passed away unexpectedly (we’re still not sure why), and when the man was faced with eviction if he kept Henry, he did the most loving thing he could — he reached out for help. That’s how Henry came to us, and now he’s on the hunt for a forever home where he can finally settle in and just be the happy pup he was meant to be. Now let’s talk personality. Henry is sweet, snuggly, and hilarious in that clumsy-puppy-learning-how-his-legs-work kind of way. He adores his humans — like, follows-you-to-the-bathroom level adores — and will happily turn into a furry neck warmer during nap time. He’s still working on potty training (emphasis on working), and he’s partially crate trained — though he might prefer your bed, your lap, or your shoes (not to wear, just to sleep on). With a little consistency and a lot of love, he’s going to be someone’s dream dog. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a squishy face, a soft heart, and a slight obsession with being near you at all times... Henry’s your guy.
