My story

Meet Lucy Brought in as a stray to East Valley Animal Shelter in the summer of 2024, Lucy is a mellow, gentle soul who has known too much uncertainty in her life. Time and again, she’s been let down by people—but through it all, she’s held onto her sweet and trusting nature. Lucy is calm, affectionate, and easy to love. She doesn’t ask for much—just a quiet place to rest, a warm lap to curl up in, and a human who will finally keep their promise to never leave her behind. We’re looking for a stable, loving forever home where Lucy can finally exhale and know she’s safe. She would do best in a peaceful environment with someone who will cherish her for the loyal, tender-hearted companion she is. If you’re ready to show Lucy that her days of being abandoned are over, she’s ready to fill your life with quiet joy and unconditional love.
