My story

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Doodle lovers-don’t miss this gem! Dolly - good in crate - good with other dogs - isn't aggressive with cats - potty trained with open doggie door. May have some accidents in her new home until she gets used to new routines etc - she's a momma's girl - beautiful doodle. We think Labradoodle but we do not know for sure. - she is so sweet - around 4 years old - loves her toys and all the things -sweetheart, loving- kid friendly -good on leash - easy energy level, calm -She is 48lbs but needs to lose a little weight. Dolly came into our rescue after she was dropped at a local shelter, Humane Society Saline County. She’d been found in rural Arkansas and was skin and bones! She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She did test positive for heartworms, but has been treated and is currently in the 6 week recovery period, post treatment. She will finish the 6 wks recovery in a week or so and then is ready for her forever home! She never had any symptoms of heartworms and has not had any complications with treatment, she just tested positive on the routine test. She is in good health. The only issue she has is that most of her teeth are worn down to nubs. We see this a lot in dogs that have been kept in kennels or crates for extended periods of time. She eats just fine and her teeth don't appear to cause her any pain. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
