My story

For a young kitten, Elaine has all the moves. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s conquered the litter box, and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s tackled her scratching post. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s already made introductions to other feline friends and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a fan. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll do well with a home with other cats, or with her being the lady of the house. Elaine has established her hierarchy of favorite toys starting with anything that makes noise. Everything from a fishing pole to a jingle ball entertains her. Above all, she can often be found carrying a toy mouse around with her. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also a fan of her down time, too. Her energy level allows for a blend of play and rest, and she prefers her own space when she unwinds. At first, Elaine can be shy, but she loves having someone to show her the sweet affection this little lady loves. Elaine is available for pre-adopt only at this time as she is not old enough to move to a forever home, but applications can still be completed. Applications for pre-adopt are processed in the order they are received. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise.
