My story
Scrappy is a 10 mo old 60lb black and tan German Shepherd that was surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/5 through no fault of his own. He was surrendered due to health problems of his owner. He does appear to have been well cared for. He is easy-going and casually strolled around the yard. He has a medium energy level, enjoys being petted and loved on. He is calm, gentle personality but its easy to see how much he would love to find his final loving forever family that has a secured tall fenced yard he could run a play in, but live indoors near his human companions. He walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. If there is another dog in the home, please be sure to ask the shelter for a dog test. Please come spend time with this sweet boy!
