My story

Bandit is the kind of dog who wins you over without even trying. With his soft eyes, gentle nature, and goofy little quirks, he brings a calming presence wherever he goes. He’s an old soul with a heart of gold—and he’s ready to spend his golden years soaking up every bit of love he can get. This handsome guy is all about the cozy life. He lives for a good blanket snuggle, has a silly streak when it comes to puddle splashing, and thinks stuffed toys are made to be gleefully destroyed (you’ve been warned!). He’s not a high-energy pup, but he does enjoy short walks, lounging in the sun, and following his people from room to room just to keep you company. Bandit is fully housetrained, does well with baths and car rides, and is incredibly easy to have around. He’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and respectful children—and he’ll happily lean into you for attention or curl up nearby for a nap. Years ago, he went through heartworm treatment and has been completely recovered ever since, but he still prefers to take life at a slower pace. That’s just his style—and honestly, it suits him perfectly. Bandit has spent most of his life alongside his best friend Duchess, and while they’re opposites in energy, they balance each other beautifully. While Bandit doesn’t need much to be happy, he has spent many years side-by-side with his best friend Duchess—and if you're looking for a perfectly balanced pair, these two complete each other in the sweetest way. Whether adopted together or separately, he’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home.
