My story

Dustin is a young American Staffordshire mix with gentle eyes and an even gentler heart. His past is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that he’s a very good boy who’s ready for a fresh start with someone who’ll give him the love, patience, and guidance he deserves.Dustin walks beautifully on leash and is eager to learn, though he’ll benefit from some basic training to help him build confidence and continue to blossom. He isn’t a match for cats or small dogs, and while he’s met a few bigger dogs, he finds them a little confusing and overwhelming—so we think he’d thrive as the only pet in the home.If you’re looking for a companion who just wants to be by your side and enjoy the simple things in life, Dustin might just be your perfect match. Come meet this soft-hearted guy and see how sweet a second chance can be.Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
