My story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereIsaac is a 7-year-old, 13-pound terrier mix with a spirit that’s pure inspiration. This sweet boy lost his sight after a car accident. He's shown incredible resilience and is learning to navigate his new world with confidence and charm. In his foster home, Isaac is crate trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on leash. He loves his daily strolls, cozy naps, and gentle snuggles. While he may startle at first touch (due to his blindness), once he knows you're a friend, his tail will wag and his heart will open. Isaac is curious, brave, and quietly adventurous. He's even mastered stairs! Isaac would thrive in a calm, loving home that understands the needs of a newly blind dog. Slow introductions and gentle touches go a long way in helping him feel safe and loved. A home with another gentle dog would be especially wonderful for him. He takes comfort in their presence and often follows their lead to explore and feel secure. If you're looking for a cuddly and easygoing companion, Isaac might just be your match.
