My story

Jane was rescued alongside her sister Darla from the euthanasia list in San Antonio, Texas. Like Darla, she arrived severely underweight and is currently in boarding while she awaits transport to our rescue in Elgin, Illinois. Despite everything she’s endured, Jane shows signs of quiet resilience. She’s cautious but curious, and gains confidence from her bond with her littermate. We suspect that beneath her tentative exterior lies a playful and loving spirit just waiting to emerge. Her personality will be evaluated once she’s settled at the rescue, but we’re already rooting for this gentle soul and the healing journey ahead of her. 🏡 Interested in welcoming Jane into your heart and home?
