My story

Well howdy there, friend—let me tell y’all ‘bout the goodest ol’ boy this side of the shelter: Colonel Mustard! 🐾🤠🌾 Now, Colonel Mustard might sound like he’s got a fancy title, but don’t let the name fool ya—he’s pure sweet country through and through. This handsome fella came wanderin’ in as a stray on 7/29/25, lookin’ like he’d been down a few too many dusty roads. We figure he’s about 2 years old, but he's already got a heart wise beyond his years. He’s tall for a beagle, with legs built for strollin’ and a nose that don’t ever stop sniffin’. Like a true Southern gentleman, he’s polite, mild-mannered, and just wants someone to sit a spell with. He’s been through some tough times, bless his heart—he’s too skinny and has a few skin troubles that tell us he ain’t been properly looked after. But even with all that, he’s still got a sparkle in his eye and a whole lotta love to give. Colonel Mustard's not askin’ for much. Just a porch to lay on, some kind words, a few good meals, and a human who’ll love him like he’s always deserved. In return? You’ll get a loyal companion, always ready to follow you from the backyard to the creek, and everywhere in between. So if you're lookin’ for a dog who’s sweeter than iced tea and twice as loyal, come on down and meet Colonel Mustard. He’s got his boots on and he's ready to ride off into the sunset with you.
