My story

Knox is a 3.5-year-old, 65-pound tri-color Bernedoodle. We adopted Knox at 8 weeks old from a breeder in Northern Michigan, Mollyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Darling Doodles. Sweet, playful, and cuddly, Knox strikes the perfect balance between fun and affection. He has a medium energy level â&#194&#128&#194&#148 he enjoys a daily walk, romping around a backyard, and spending time at the dog park or doggy daycare, where he gets along well with other dogs. One of his favorite things is rolling onto his back in the grass, paws in the air, soaking up the sun and being silly. He hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t lived with another dog or cat but does well in social settings. Knox loves cuddle time. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll gently paw at you for belly rubs and affection, and he absolutely loves being close to his people. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s crate-trained, house-trained, and comfortable on a leash. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, and down. In addition, Knox is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. When we adopted Knox, we did not have kids yet however we knew we wanted a family and assumed he would be a great family dog. Since welcoming our two babies into our home, weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve noticed that Knox seems uncomfortable and less at ease. While he has never shown any aggression, itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s clear that heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not his happiest when the babies are around. Knox is a very loving dog who thrives on attention and cuddles, and we want him to be in a home where he can feel completely relaxed and loved. This decision is truly about whatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s best for him, and we are committed to finding the right home where he can flourish. For this reason, we are looking to rehome our sweet dog, Knox, after a lot of thought and with heavy hearts. Knox would do best in a home with adults only, ideally with someone who can give him plenty of love, and daily playtime. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a loyal, snuggly, and playful companion, Knox just might be your perfect match. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Knox III, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
