My story

Wilson has been with us at BHS for a couple of months after arriving as a stray, and we’ve seen him make wonderful progress in his socialization journey. While the shelter can overwhelming at times, Wilson continues to adapt more each day. We’re certain that in a calm, quiet home, his sweet personality will truly shine.Wilson is looking for a patient, understanding family who can give him the time and space he needs to settle in at his own pace. He may take time to warm up to an unfamiliar space, but once he feels safe, he’s sure to become a companion. A home with someone familiar with cat body language would be ideal to help support his continued progress. He might enjoy having a feline friend to help him feel more at ease, and with proper introductions, he may do well with respectful dogs too. Wilson would do best in a home with older, gentle children who understand the importance of giving him space when he needs it. Food and gentle parts are the way to gaining Wilson’s trust and stealing his heart!
