My story

Pixie has just arrived to us and is already settling in wonderfully. She’s a ~2 year old Aussie who fell on some hard times. Some lovely people in a partner rescue in KY saved her from an overcrowded shelter after her family didn’t have time for her and surrendered her. Pixie is getting healthier and with continued TLC , her coat will thicken and her she will be even more stunning! If you are familiar with the breed and are willing to satisfy her activity and mental needs, Pixie could be the perfect fit for you. This diamond in the rough appears to be house trained, slept in her crate all night and is improving on leash. She has typical Aussie smarts, and wants to please, but has no training yet. If interested in Pixie, the first step is to fill out an application with Mountain Rottie Rescue. Let’s get this sweet thing into the perfect home! www.mountainrottierescue.net

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pixie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
