My story

**Meet Jinshi**, the talkative buff and white big brother with a big voice and an even bigger personality! This little guy has something to say about *everything*—mealtime, playtime, cuddle time—you name it, he’s got thoughts. He loves to wrestle and roughhouse, especially with his sister, and when you pick him up, he spreads his limbs like a tiny flying squirrel, ready for launch! Jinshi may act like the bold older sibling, but don’t be fooled—his soft side comes out when it’s snuggle time, and he’s always looking for a warm lap or cozy blanket to curl up in after all the fun. ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around September 1st, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption. We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
