My story

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Hello, my future family! My name is Layla and I just arrived to my foster home with my sister in NJ until I can find my perfect furever home. I am a Catahoula/Bulldog mix. That means I am a working/hunting breed and I will do well with a family that will give me a lot of exercise and playtime. Teach me tricks and give me chores! I am smart, strong, friendly, energetic, super affectionate and playful. I was born on June 10, 2025, just about 8 weeks ago. I arrived weighing 6.4 pounds. I will grow to be a medium/large size, perhaps around 40 pounds. While I wait to meet you, I am hanging out with my foster sisters - 9 year old German Shepherd and 3 yr old Shih Tzu mix. They are teaching me the house and potty rules. I am having so much fun! After romping around and playing, I love to just plop and spread out like Superman!(that may be more of the bulldog in me lol!) I am looking forward to learning what you have to teach me to keep me happy and busy. When it is time to rest, I will take a nap in my crate or cuddle by your side. I sleep through the night in my crate that is set up with a comfy bed inside. Could you be my family? I'm your girl!
