You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This stunning blue-eyed beauty is Icelyn, and she is as sweet as she is resilient. With a gentle soul and playful spirit, Icelyn loves everyone she meets—she gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, is great with cats, and we believe she’d do well with respectful children too. She’s truly a loving, easygoing girl. Icelyn is kennel trained, though she doesn’t really need one, and she’s house trained with a consistent routine. Her favorite things? Snuggling up next to her people, lounging on a cozy couch or dog bed, and soaking up affection from anyone willing to give it. Icelyn’s journey hasn’t been easy. She came to us in November extremely sick, and we weren’t sure she would make it. Thankfully, our dedicated vet team discovered she was suffering from blastomycosis, a rare fungal infection caused by Blastomyces dermatitidis, typically found in moist, sandy soil near water—just like the area she was found in. While her condition isn’t worsening, it’s also not improving, and she will require lifelong management. Despite her diagnosis, Icelyn is thriving. You would never know she has blasto just by looking at her—she’s happy, active, and full of life. Importantly, blastomycosis is not contagious to people or other animals. Because of her medical needs, Icelyn is considered a Forever Foster. This means that all of her vet care, food, and medications will be covered by our rescue. She will remain under the care of East Brook Animal Hospital in Waverly, TN, and we can arrange transport if her foster lives farther away. Icelyn deserves a soft place to land, a loving family to cherish her, and the comfort of knowing she’s finally home. Could you be the person who opens your heart and home to her?
