My story

Meet Eliza (Izzy): The Sweetest Sidekick You’ll Ever Meet! 🐶💕 Say hello to Eliza, affectionately called Izzy by her foster family—a gentle, playful puppy with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. Izzy has been thriving in a busy foster home, surrounded by five dogs (including two young dachshunds she’s convinced she’s related to!), three cats, and children of all ages. She fits in beautifully with everyone and everything—playing gently with kids, romping around with her doggy friends, and even teaming up with the younger cat for playful adventures. She truly loves everyone she meets, whether it's men, women, kids, cats, or fellow pups. Despite being a young pup, Izzy has a wonderfully calm demeanor. She’s affectionate, sweet, and surprisingly chill—especially when it’s time to cuddle. Her current love language? Silly little puppy nibbles instead of kisses (but she’s working on it!). She’s crate trained while her foster family is away, and at night she prefers to snuggle on the couch or bed. She's also making great progress with potty training and learning how to walk on a leash. She's already picked up on cues like "potty time" and "kibble time" like a pro. Izzy would do best in a home where she won’t be left too lonely. She’s used to the company of other pets and lots of human interaction, so she may feel a little lost in a quiet, single-pet home. That said, she’s incredibly adaptable and would thrive with any loving family willing to give her time, attention, and lots of cuddles. Playful but not wild, sweet but a little silly, Izzy is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. She’s the kind of pup who will make you laugh, keep you company, and curl up by your side at the end of the day.
