He’s playful, energetic, and full of personality—always ready to make you laugh with his goofy antics. Whether he’s tossing around a squeaky toy or zooming across the yard, Mort puts his whole heart into having fun.Mort enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s social and submissive, and picks up on cues well from his canine friends. He has also lived with a cat and mostly keeps to himself, making him a good fit for homes with or without other pets. Mort would likely do well with dog-savvy kids because he is a young guy still learning his puppy manners. This happy guy knows “sit,” “lay down,” “drop it,” and “place,” and is always eager to learn more—especially when food is involved. He loves walks and is always excited to explore, though he does occasionally burst into a joyful sprint just because he can. Mort is crated for a few hours during the day and overnight, and while he may whine a little at first, he settles quickly. He’s house trained and continues to do well on a consistent schedule.Mort is a lovable whirlwind of fun who thrives with clear structure and daily activity.
