My story

Pretzel is a very sweet, shy, shepherd mix. She’s about 2 years old and was surrendered in New Mexico by someone who stated she had wandered up to their property and never left. Pretzel can be very shy at first meeting new people, but warms up in time. Once she trusts someone, she is goofy and affectionate and wants attention. She enjoys playing in the yard with her dog friends, and eating snacks! Pretzel would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, with a quieter human who doesn’t expect her to go many places. In the home she is most herself, and doesn’t enjoy loud or crowded places. She is great with dogs, especially males around her size, and would do best in a home with another dog. We don’t recommend her around children as she can be nervous and shy. She is potty trained and kennel trained, and working on leash manners. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pretzel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
