Mia

My story

Mia came to us as an owner surrender alongside her brother, who has since found a home of his own. While her brother adjusted quickly, Mia has needed more time. She arrived in less-than-ideal physical condition and has shown us she’s the more timid and reserved of the two. Since then, our behavior team has been gently working with Mia to help her build confidence and feel safe in her new environment. She’s made progress, but it’s clear that what Mia needs most is a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Mia is a truly sweet and gentle soul who is simply trying to make sense of all the changes in her life. With time, love, and understanding, she will blossom. If you're someone who can offer Mia the space and reassurance she needs, she just might be the perfect match for you.
