Cinders

My story

Sometimes "forever" falls through. This is the case with so many animals that come through our adoption program. We intercept as many "owner surrenders" as possible. It keeps these animals out of the shelter system. Cinders and Pepper are two cats that find themsleves in this predicament and we are here to help them and their momma. Here is the bio she sent us: "My husband died recently and I can no longer afford to keep all of our cats. I have 2 males, both neutered, healthy, litter box trained . They are from the same litter, were born in our house and have never been outside. They have been together since birth. I would like to see them in a safe, loving place. They are beautiful adult cats . Can you help me ? I am 82 yrs old and my income decreased drastically when my husband passed. I can no longer continue rescuing cats as my husband and I did for the past 8 years. We have had so many litters born in our home . Family members and friends have given many of them loving homes. We kept the rest. It was not our intention, but I believe it was meant to be. The previous owners of our house left a cat behind. When we were moving in she followed us inside and made herself at home. A few weeks later, she had a litter of 5. We moved in with 0 pets and suddenly had 6 cats. We kept them all.
