My story

Meet Scooter – The Little Dog with the Big Personality! Scooter is a 12 lb bundle of fun wrapped in a brown Chihuahua mix body, topped off with the poofiest black and brown tail you’ve ever seen. Young, spunky, and full of charm, Scooter is ready to bounce his way into your life — and your heart. This energetic little guy LOVES his squeaky toys and will happily entertain himself (and you!) with his antics. He’s great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and while he hasn’t officially met kids yet, we think he’d be just fine with respectful, dog-savvy ones. Scooter came to us with his buddy Mavie from animal control, but they’ve agreed they’re cool parting ways — in fact, they’d prefer it! Scooter is ready to be the star of his own story. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big tail and even bigger personality, Scooter is your guy. Come meet him and let the adventures begin! He is estimated at about 3 years old.
