Jackson is the definition of a gentle giant! This sweet soul is calm, loving, and happiest when he's close to his people—especially kids! While he adores children, due to his size and occasional clumsiness, a home with older kiddos would be best. Jackson is the perfect blend of playful and relaxed. He enjoys romping around the yard (despite being a bit wobbly on his back legs—don’t worry, it doesn’t slow him down one bit!) and then settling in for a long, cozy nap on the couch. He’s also a HUGE fan of car rides and crate time, and he walks wonderfully on a leash. This low-energy lovebug has a quirky little habit of self-soothing by licking or sucking on his stuffy, blanket, bed—or even his foster mom’s arm while snoozing! It’s just one of the many endearing things about him. Jackson is great with dogs of all sizes and is incredibly gentle with his tiny 10-pound foster brother. He's happy to share his toys and food, though meals are best enjoyed in his crate to make sure he actually gets to eat (his foster siblings tend to sneak bites!). While Jackson is still gaining confidence in his new surroundings, he seeks comfort and connection from his people and thrives in a home that offers love and patience. He’s the kind of dog who will fit beautifully into almost any family—as long as they understand he’s a big guy with an even bigger heart. Ready to open your home to this sweet, snuggly boy? All approved applications are good for 12 months. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
