He was adopted from a shelter two years ago, finally finding what he thought would be his forever home. But sadly, that promise was broken. Returned to a different shelter through no fault of his own, Toby was simply “too playful” for the senior couple who adopted him. His energy and zest for life were more than they could keep up with—but that same joyful spark could be the perfect match for someone ready to embrace it. Toby is the definition of fun-loving. He thrives on belly rubs, squeaky toys, and romping around with people who can match his cheerful pace. He’s also incredibly affectionate, sweet-natured, and ready to give his whole heart to someone who won’t give up on him again. Toby is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and ready to start fresh with a family who sees his playfulness as a gift—not a flaw.
