My story

Meet Lucy – the sweetest little scruffy peanut with a golden coat and a whole lot of heart! Lucy is 9 weeks young and about 7 pounds of pure puppy joy. With her soft, golden brown coat and expressive little face, she’s the kind of pup that makes everyone stop and say “awww.” But don’t let her delicate looks fool you—this girl’s got spunk, smarts, and a playful spirit that shines. Like her siblings, Lucy was found heartbreakingly abandoned in a sealed box at a park. But from the moment she landed in our care, she’s been busy making the most of her second chance—snuggling up to her foster family, learning the ropes of being a pet, and stealing hearts along the way. Lucy is a loving, people-focused pup who thrives on attention and connection. She’s playful with her foster siblings and would absolutely love a home with another friendly dog to show her the ropes. She’s a great mix of cuddly and curious, and we just know she’s going to grow into a loyal, fun-loving companion. She’s currently in the middle of her puppy vaccine series and will need about 8 more weeks before she can safely explore the world outside. We expect she’ll be between 13–20 pounds full grown and she’s low-shedding, which just adds to her charm. This is also the best way to submit additional documents or information. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $500 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
