My story

Meet Gilbert! This incredibly sweet and affectionate young boy has come a long way. Found inside an abandoned house alongside his brother and sister, Gilbert was initially shy—but once safe in his foster home, his true personality blossomed. Now? He’s a total love bug. Gilbert purrs when he drinks water, when he’s being held, and especially when he’s being gently pet—he practically melts in your arms. At around 4 months old (as of August 2025), this charming little guy is also polydactyl, meaning he has an adorable six toes on each front paw—like he’s always wearing mittens! He’s playful, curious, and loves the company of other cats. Toys are a big hit, but the best part about Gilbert is watching how far he’s come—from a scared kitten to a snuggly, confident sweetheart. Gilbert is ready to find a forever family to love him as much as he’ll love them. Could that be you? Interested in adopting?
