My story

Hi there, I'm Bernie! And I'm looking for my forever home… maybe it's with you? I’m a 6-month-old pup with a big heart and a gentle soul. Life hasn’t always been easy for me—I was found as a stray with my brother Bo Bo. He had a hurt leg that had to be removed, but he’s a brave boy and healing well. I was lucky to be in good health, just a little skinny and scared. I’m told I might be a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix, but honestly, I just think I’m a lovable fluffball who wants to be someone’s best friend. I’m a little shy at first—can you blame me?—but once I get to know you, I really enjoy gentle pets and quiet moments together. I’ve been through a lot, so I just need a little time and patience to learn that the world is safe again. The nice people at Central Arizona Animal Rescue have taken great care of me. I’ve been vaccinated, neutered, and I even have a microchip so I’ll never be lost again. I’ve started playing with the other puppies here, and guess what? Playing is fun! I’m learning how to be a happy dog again. If you have a kind heart and a cozy home, I’d love to meet you. I promise to be the sweetest companion once I know I’m safe and loved. Want to meet me?
