My story
A gentle giant!!! Please meet Leroy Jenkins! This big boy weighs 12+ pounds and is estimated to be 1 1/2 - 2 years old He enjoys relaxing at the window and this big boy loves snuggling up with his people. Here is his story. From day one, Leroy Jenkins has been one of the sweetest, most gentle cats I have every met.I believe Leroy was left behind or dumped, needing to fend for himself to find food and shelter. He found his way to a colony of cats looking for food. He easily stood out as a newbie because he did not seem totally scared of the humans providing food for the colony. He was easily trapped and neutered at Forgotten Cats. It was instantly apparent Leroy was indeed very friendly, wanting pet through the trap and giving headbumps. But there was no room for him to be kept. As the trapper, I knew he could not be returned to acolony he did not come from, but more so he deserved to be loved and cared for in a home. I fostered and cared for him until there was space for him to be adopted. Leroy is incredibly sweet, gentle and affectionate. He sits on my lap and snuggles next to me to sleep. He gives nose kisses and likes to rub his face on mine. Leroy rolls over to show his belly when he is happy. He is learning to play with toys. Leroy has a very chill vibe and enjoys what life has to offer – food, cozy bed and hanging with his humans. Its difficult to believe that anyone could discard this loving boy.
