My story

Wiggly, sweet, and full of love, Tally is ready to find her forever family. She’s the kind of pup who is easy going and eager to connect, she walks nicely and checks in often, sometimes with a joyful little jump to say, “Hey, I’m here!” Tally is incredibly people-focused and lights up when you get down on her level, offering gentle kisses, a happy tail, and even a polite sit for treats. She’s playful, zoomy, and loves human attention. While she’s still learning some manners - especially around jumping, she’s a quick study and would thrive with training and exercise. She’s done well meeting other dogs with soft, polite greetings, and may enjoy having calm dog friends or being your one-and-only. Tally has the makings of a great family dog, gentle, social, and full of potential. Come meet her at ACCT Philly, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm and fall in love. Pushed gate with head to come out. Easy to leash otherwise. Leash Skills: Walks on a loose leash. Orients to the handler with many check ins and jumping on the handler. Sociability: Highly social with me, jumps for attentions especially if you get on her level. Soft body language and loose and wiggly. Takes treats gently and offers a sit/stay for one. Play: Playful with me, wiggly and zoomies. Did not try a toy. Dog Interaction: Met sally thru a fence. Tail down and loose, soft eyes, sniffs, disengaged easily. Return to Kennel: Easy Recommendations and considerations: Seems like a nice potential choice for a home with kids, needs training and exercise for jumping. per day trip 8/3: Tally is a gem - she walks so well on a leash and enjoyed her day at the park. She doesn't pull at all and was super friendly to people who approached us to say hello. Tally was not bothered by the other dogs - she just kept walking. We took her to an outdoor restaurant where she enjoyed a hamburger and a few fries. Tally is a low key girl just looking for a person to love her back. Tally kept checking in with me and I think she will be easy to train.
