My story

Meet King Monroe! King Monroe arrived at the Humane Society of Imperial County as a stray. When no one came forward to claim him, we happily welcomed him into the Frosted Faces family on July 31st. At 9 years old and just 10 lbs, King Monroe is small in stature but huge in charm. With his soulful eyes and adorable little trot, he melts hearts wherever he goes. He loves a good walk, is friendly with people, and gets along well in playgroups. On leash, he might give a little growl to unknown dogs, just to let them know he is in charge. This happy-go-lucky guy rides like a pro in the car, takes baths without fuss, and is perfectly fine having his ears, paws, and face touched. He is polite at restaurants and will happily greet those around him, making him the perfect breakfast date. When the day winds down, King Monroe becomes a world-class snuggler, and in true royal fashion, he enjoys hoarding and hiding his toys for later.
