My story

LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME OR FOSTER TO ADOPT: Ginger is a stunning senior Persian calico with a heart as warm as her name. Ginger has had a rough start—she came from a home where her basic needs weren’t being met, and she’s now ready for a second chance at the love and care she’s always deserved. Ginger is declawed, and unfortunately, this has led to arthritis in her front legs. She moves more slowly these days and will benefit from a calm environment and cozy spots to rest. She’s also in the early stages of kidney disease, which will need to be monitored, but she’s currently stable and doing well with supportive care. Persian cats like Ginger require daily grooming and facial cleaning. Her luxurious long coat needs regular brushing to prevent matting, and her signature Persian facial folds must be gently cleaned each day to keep her comfortable and healthy. Ginger is very tolerant of grooming and appreciates the attention when done with love and patience.Despite her past, Ginger is gentle, affectionate, and truly resilient. She’s lived with other cats before and would likely be fine with a mellow feline friend who gives her space and respect. Ginger is looking for a quiet, loving home with someone who understands her needs and is willing to give her the daily care she requires. In return, she’ll offer her soft purrs, quiet companionship, and all the gratitude in the world.
