My story

This little cutie pie is Cognac, AKA Coney Dog. He has been learning the ropes in his foster home and is ready to find a home of his very own!   Cognac is about a year old and weighs 19lbs. He was found as a stray in Texas and appears he hasn’t ever had much structure or training so he will benefit greatly from a consistent routine and professional training (and not left to his own devices ). He is making progress with crate training but will need continued work on this as well.    Walks great on a leash - he will require regular exercise  **Barks upon seeing new doggies and humans but is friendly when approached (this can be improved with training as well!) Described as potentially being “overly friendly” with fur friends so, if other dogs in the house, they should be playful as well. He would also do fine as an only dog. Good with cats if the cat is dog friendly ;-) Learning boundaries but does need continued work (You know what…..training will help with this too! )   Very sweet, snuggly, and playful with humans. He tends to be a velcro dog. We recommend no young children (over 5 should be ok) due to his overly excited nature and lack of self control.
