My story

Hello! My name is Elinor, and I'm a 1 year old brown tabby girl. I'm a cuddlebug who likes playing with toys I can bat around! I'm multi-talented--I make biscuits, I roll over for pets, and if you pet me along my back, I have what some people call 'elevator butt' where I lift up my tail for the really good scritches. You can also hold me and pet me--in fact, I think you should come to the shelter ASAP to do just that!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    August 1, 2025, 8:12 pm
