My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Kia tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parentsA volunteer writes: Kia knows he has to be brave, so he's trying. In fact, he's trying especially hard. We see it in the way he comes to the front of his condo when someone walks in and also in the way rushes back to his den when the door opens. Progress doesn't always look how we want it to or how we think it will, but each courageous step forward is a celebration. Kia has so much hope in his heart that he wears on his face as he looks out and Adoptions and asks to be chosen. Sweet as can be, Kia pokes his head out to nuzzle and will luxuriously stretch himself into every single pet he can get. It's a joy to see Kia relax into neck scritches. Kia was brought to us when his guardian could no longer care for him and is really hoping someone will see him and bring him home.
