My story

Monica, the gorgeous mama of three handsome boys, arrived after being cared for as a semi-wild stray. We were expecting a much more shy and reserved cat, but within just about a minute, this pretty tabby-and-white lady began rubbing up against the kennel door. Monica has continued to suprise us - every day, we meet a slightly different cat personality-wise. First she's sweet, then she's salty, then she's sweet again. We think the chaos of the shelter might have thrown her off, and she's just not sure how to feel about it. A stable home can do so much to soothe the confusion in a homeless animal's heart. With gentle coaxing, Monica is up against you, purring away and scent marking too. Then you'll see the switch - she's hissing and backing away. 30 seconds later, she's back and requesting more cheek rubs. Life with her will never be boring. While she may not be the picture-perfect cat, she still might be YOUR perfect cat.
