Buttercup

My story

Buttercup is a 1yr old 39lb soft tawny colored bulldog that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/1 as a stray. She is absolutely adorable with a spunky, happy demeanor. She’s low to the ground and she never stops wiggling. She loves people and it shows! She loves belly rubs, sits for treats and takes them gently. However, she’s a little beggar. She found out where my treats were and she would try to get into pocket to get them out! She occasionally jumps on you, but that’s because she wants some more loving. She’s feisty, playful, alert, and so so sweet! She’s a real love bug! She was not interested in meeting other dogs. She did do her business in the yard. She walks very well on a leash. She definitely will need to be an indoor dog where she can remain comfy from the heat, and be pampered like the darling she is.
