My story

Rocky was surrendered to us through no fault of her own-her previous family was moving and sadly couldn't take her along. In her former home, Rocky was known to be a sweet, friendly, and affectionate cat who loved being petted and spending time with her people.She has previously lived with other cats and did well with them. She hasn't had experience with children or dogs, so a calmer environment may suit her best.Since arriving at the shelter, Rocky has been understandably scared and overwhelmed. She's been vocal about her stress and is still adjusting to her new surroundings. While we haven't yet seen the same affectionate cat her previous family described, we've gotten brief, hopeful glimpses of her gentle nature. With time, patience, and a quiet, loving home, we believe Rocky will begin to feel safe and let her true personality shine again. Primary Color: Cream Tabby Weight: 8.2 Age: 1yrs 2mths 1wks
