My story

PunkMale, Neutered Almost 2 yearsCurr Mix63 Pounds If you’re looking for a best friend, Punk is for you! No matter where you go or what you do, he will be there with his big goofy smile and slightly flopped ear.  This sweet guy has had a ruff start. He cans to us in April from a Shelter in Alabama. Unfortunately, he tested positive for Heartworm shortly after arriving. He’s been relaxing and recovering and now he’s ready to breakout!He’s a fan of munching on farm fresh marrow bones, being outside, running around with his foster sister, going for walks (we are working on pulling and not crossing another leash), and LOVES to play with a ball…even by himself…seriously wait until you see the hop! He is not a fan of random loud noises (think something falling over, a loud vehicle, fireworks etc.) or fast hand movements toward his head (timid not aggressive). We give him a good head scratch if he gets scared and calms right down.He is good with dogs and cats (we have to remind him sometimes the kitty doesn’t want to play), he has not been around kids with us, but he’s a lover and will probably attack them with kisses.  He knows the command sit and almost has paw. He is good walking on a leash. Working on not pulling when he sees a squirrel or bird.
