My story

Location:St Paul Park, MN Meet Sweetness – aka BooBoo BooBoo got her name because she was covered in "owies" when first rescued, but she’s healing beautifully and her sweet, gentle nature shines through. She’s a snuggly, affectionate pup who loves to be held close, has goofy zoomies, and enjoys being part of everything you’re doing. Personality & Play She’s playful and curious, loves squeaky toys, bones, tug-of-war, and fetch. When excited, she gets mouthy like most puppies — not aggressive, just enthusiastic — and she’s learning quickly with redirection to toys and ice cubes. Training & Routine Potty training is going great! She alerts at the door and rarely has accidents if taken out regularly. Crate trained for short periods (~3 hours); prefers to sleep in bed and snoozes quietly through the night. Will "kennel up" with treats. Learning to walk on leash, though still nervous — she tends to stick close or behind you. Kennel & alone time: She cries a little but settles. Likes being near her person at all times. Socialization She’s great with people, warms up fast, and was calm meeting a small dog. She hasn’t met cats or kids yet but shows no signs of aggression. Quirks & Notes Escape artist: Can squeeze through tight spaces — supervision needed! Hates: Baths, vacuums, and peanut butter. Loves: Belly rubs, cuddles, and organic beef stick treats. Health: Skin is healing well; fur is growing back nicely. BooBoo is a sweet, smart, and sensitive pup who just wants love, structure, and someone to keep helping her blossom. 💕 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
