Ivy – ID 12218 – Arrived July 25 Siberian Husky mix – Tri-color – Female – 45 lbs – Approx. 2–3 years old Very good on leash – Attentive and obedient – Sits for treats and takes them gently Will be spayed prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines She didn’t come in with a name, but we call her Ivy—because like the ivy plant, she’s resilient, graceful, and ready to grow roots in a place called home. This stunning girl is a Siberian Husky mix with a coat so soft it feels like cotton and eyes full of quiet hope. She came into the shelter as a stray, but you’d never guess it by her gentle spirit. Ivy walks beautifully on leash, stays close, and listens attentively. She’ll sit politely for treats, taking them from your hand with the utmost care—as if to say, thank you for noticing me. At just around 2 to 3 years old, Ivy is the perfect blend of youthful playfulness and calm companionship. She seems like she’s been someone’s girl before—maybe loved once, maybe just dreaming of being loved for the first time. Whether you’re going for quiet walks, cozy evenings, or just a soft head to lean on—Ivy is ready. All she needs now is someone who sees her for the treasure she truly is. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
