My story

ð&#194&#159&#194&#144¾ Hi, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Willa Rose! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m 6 months old, 28 lbs of pure wiggle, and Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a Husky/Labradoodle mix! People say I â&#194&#128&#194&#156go with the flow,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 and honestlyâ&#194&#128¦ theyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re not wrong. I love my toys (and, um, everyone elseâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s toys too). If it squeaks, crinkles, or bouncesâ&#194&#128&#194&#148Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m all about it! My story? Well, I was found wandering 40 acres in Arkansas all by myself. No one ever came for me, and I was in pretty rough shapeâ&#194&#128&#194&#148covered in ticks and fleas, and the vet says I was malnourished. But look at me now! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve been treated, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m feeling amazing, and Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m ready for the good life. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m up to date on my vaccines and on heartworm prevention. Oh, and I'm spayed and microchipped! Fancy, huh? ð&#194&#159&#194&#142¾ About Me TOYS. Did I mention toys? Mine, yours, theirsâ&#194&#128&#194&#148if itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a toy, I love it! I play really well with other dogs, but because Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a playful pup, I still need some guidance so it stays fun for everyone. I also love my walks! Morning and afternoon strolls? Yes, please. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m polite on leash and learning fast, though I do get excited about squirrels and birds (what can I say, instincts!). With my Husky side, I need exercise and brain games to keep me happy. And hey, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m still a puppyâ&#194&#128&#194&#148so Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll need your guidance to grow into my best self. I love snuggles and attention, but Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m also okay chilling on my own when playtime is done. ð&#194&#159&#194&#143¡ What Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Working On Crate training? Checkâ&#194&#128&#194&#148weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re practicing! Leash manners? Pretty good, but I need consistency. House training? Doing greatâ&#194&#128&#194&#148I hang out on a drag line in the house so I can keep learning good habits, and so far, so good. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m also learning fun stuff like â&#194&#128&#194&#156sit,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 â&#194&#128&#194&#156wait at the door,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 â&#194&#128&#194&#156kennel up,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 and â&#194&#128&#194&#156engageâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (that means focusing on my person). Because of my smarts (and breed), Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll need ongoing training to keep my brain busy. I started life as a little wanderer, but now Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m dreaming of a forever home with people who are loving and consistentâ&#194&#128&#194&#148and maybe a toy basket bigger than me! ð&#194&#159&#194&#146&#194&#150 If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for an easy-going girl who loves walks, goes with the flow, and has a serious toy obsession, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m your girl! Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d love someone experienced with active, playful dogs like me! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Willa Rose, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org.
