Lewis

My story

He is one of 30 some dogs that were confiscated from a hoarding situation. Lewis is not yet neutered. He is approx. 2-3 yrs. old and heartworm negative. Lewis is very curious and mischievous but also very scared of the world around him. He will need a special family to take him in, he will need someone that has patience and can help him learn to trust people again. Right now, he is not leash trained, he tries his best to hold it in the crate. Lewis is still scared of being touched. There has been NO attempt to growl or bite not even at the vets. He will be very trainable if someone can take the time to work with him. He will need another kind dog, as he is a submissive type, and a small fenced area to go out in. He will need house breaking and leash training. He will eat out of a bowl. He is currently housed in the same space as his former housemate Clark, though they do NOT appear to be bonded at all.
