My story

Maggie is a lovely, older cat who was originally adopted from us and spent most of her life with her devoted person. When her adopter became too ill to care for her, Maggie was returned to us. To spare her the stress of returning to the rescue—especially in her senior years—she is now in a foster home where she can decompress and adjust at her own pace.She’s a very sweet senior girl with a gentle, affectionate nature. While Maggie is sensitive to big changes and takes some time to adjust, she has made wonderful progress in her foster home. She’s now doing great with the resident cat, dog, and young son—showing just how adaptable and kind she can be once she feels secure.Maggie would thrive in a peaceful, patient home that allows her time to settle in. Whether as a solo companion or with other mellow pets, she’s ready for her next chapter—one filled with love, comfort, and the stability she deserves.July 31, 2025, 7:19 pm
